CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Division of PermataBank wanted to create a breakthrough content that support their program called PermataHati. The program obligates all PermataBank employee to involve in social activities once in a year. One of the themes is financial education for children, that is to introduce bank and money-saving concept.
We both agreed that printed media like books or pamphlets are no longer exciting for children of this era. Therefore, an edugame (means ‘education game’) came out as the solution. It was also considered easier to handle for employee in a social activity that needs to be mobile.
The edugame was designed as a simple adventure game for children user, age 6-12. We put user as a first person in the game, accompanied by key character named ‘Bintang’, to explore places and collect points. Each places delivered the important topics in a fun way; puzzles, coloring, matching, and spot differences. All wrapped with a colorful design, the content successfully helped children to learn as well as play.
